Hi, John, I just wanted to say a personal THANK YOU for all your time and effort you have put forth into scanning and uploading all these airport charts that you have done. Without these charts, accurate classic scenery would not be as good as it is. More than once, I have been totally surprised how radically different many of these airports were 50 years ago. A big "hats off" to you sir for your work Mike

Hi Dennis Thank you. For myself it is a labour of love and anything I can do to help improve our Classic airport flying I am more than happy to do. Will be back home on Monday.

Alejandro, that might bring you some steps forward. I found a map of Buenos Aires Ezeiza 1960 here:
www.foroaviones.com/foro/comercial-general/7526-serio-incidente-en-ezeiza-3.html
BTW, the older part didn't changed sustantially since the end of the Fifties as shows the comparaison of a FS2004 scenery screenshot with older images (unfortunately I don't found the overview image anymore ...).
www.flightsimulatorarg.com.ar/escenarios3.htm
Maybe the author of this scenery could help you to get further informations. Between "almost" World Champions it should be possible
[Edit] Beginning the Sixties it could be close to that here:

Have uploaded 1962 and 1963 Bogota El Dorado charts along with a good selection of airport and terminal photos to my Flickr page JWHSHD. Hopefully someone will take this airport up a a project as it is a pretty interesting airport to fly into. Link to the page below: www.flickr.com/photos/12530375@N08/It seems the original Bogota Airport was "de Techo". This closed in 1959 when El Dorado got up and running unlike Limatambo in Peru which apparently was kept operational for a while after the opening of the new Lima Airport. You can see from the uploaded Jepessen charts de Techo was used as a navigation feature for El Dorado. So far, haven't found any runway charts for de Techo but if some can be located I'll upload them along with the photos that have so far been found. John

I'll see what I can find for you. My friend with the huge aviation archive is looking through everything to see what he has on South American Airports for me. I'm seeing him on Sunday so hopefully we will have something then.

Ok i created a thread on Flight Simulator Argentina forum, to ask help also to argentinian FS developers,
in this site there are great designers, that already made some work for Buenos Aires Metropolitan area (landclasses) that i would like to use, after remove modern buildings, to improve geography and landclass of Buenos Aires
That will help also Chris34 with his Newebery SABE project
I hope someone of this site, will help us,
Cheers
