Hi,
It's been pretty long since my last classic repaint work.
New F-27 with VC (by Bernie/leutnant werner) moved me to work on some new repaints for F-27.
I couldn't find the proper paintkit for the work. so used white base texture for the repaint.
The first repaint for the model is Korean Air Line(KAL)'s F-27-200 in 1963 color.
HL5201 actually first ordered by KNA(Korea National Airlines; Parent Company and preceding company of KAL).
Manufactured and Handed over to KAL in 1963.
It was the first color of KAL's F-27s.
Flight attendant wears the uniform of KAL in 1963. And Step Car is painted refering the color of Old Step Car.
Logo Size needs some modification.
Reg No. and KAL Logo as been placed bottoms side of the wings.
Reg No. and KAL Logo also placed on the Top of the wings.
You might also find some dirts on the fuselage. AC's not that clean as new.
Final Approach to RJFF (21st Century.. LOL)
Landing RJFF.
Refenrence Pic for the repaints.
KAL's New year Kick off ceremony at Kimpo Airfield 1964. Also you can see KAL DC-4 in the background.
The Very First F-27 for KAL during Test Flight. PH-FFE. To become HL5201.
Second F-27 for KAL, manufactured and Delivered to January '64.
As you might find, comparing screenshot and reference picture, some minor errors are found at repaint.
Those need some minor modification and might release this by next weekend. (Bit busy with real life works.
)
And.. Next will be.....
KAL's Last 60s Color. The picture was taken late 60s at Gangneung Airfield.
And following.. ANA's F27s... and repaint of Asian Operators.
Regards,
Dennis
