I've been populating Texas with the "Texas 1962 Airports" add on. I installed the scenery per the instructions and while I've got most of the addon working, I'm having a few issues. 1. A. I seem to be missing buildings at key airfields, mainly Love Field near Dallas and Hobby Field near Houston, Carswell AFB and others. I've got the recommended scenery packs installed (Classic LIbraries V2, Stinstrom's ground service equipment, Loney's Scenery Objects Collection and the EZ Scenery Library by Grindele. B. Do I need to buy the payware EZ Scenery by Abacus for the buildings? 2. A. I can't seem to get rid of DFW International at Dallas/Fort Worth and George Bush International at Houston. I can't find anything in the readme file on how to do this, so I must be missing something somewhere. Any ideas? 3. All pertinent folders are active in the Scenery Library. Here is a screen shot of Hobby Field at Houston. The west side of the airfield has all its building, but the north side terminal is missing. Thanks in advance.

jagdflieger,
On question 2A. You need to have a copy of the current CalClassic Core folder in your addon scenery folder and activated in your scenery library. This contains exclusions for default DFW and HOU. Also in your scenery library turn off the DFW aerial photo.

Thanks for the reply Ed. I have the CalClassic Core folder active and down low in the hierarchy as well as the DFW aerial photo deactivated.
It all seems a bit odd to me, but I'll check the Core folder and look for the exclude files for DFW and George Bush International. I'm pretty sure they start with "x" and then the airport's name or FAA id code.
Update:
I found "xdfw_remove.bgl" for DFW in the Core folder. Shouldn't this file remove DFW from the scenery?
I'm not sure which file should remove George Bush International as there is no exclude file with the code KIAH.
Last month when I was installing my West Coast scenery, the SEATAC terminal refused to show up for a week or so. Then, all of a sudden, it was there. Go figure!

I was incorrect about the excludes being in CalClassic Core. The xdfw_remove.bgl only removes the library objects and autogen. Make sure you have a folder called Texas1962_LC in your addon scenery folder and that it's activated. This is part of the Texas 1962 scenery. With this installed I still have the default buildings and taxi signs at KIAH. But KDFW is removed.

I moved the Calclassic Core folder up in the hierarchy several places and that solved the DFW issue. It's now gone.
I'm still missing the buildings at Love Field though. The Texas 1962 folder is active in the Scenery Library. Do you know if these building in the payware Abacus EX Scenery addon or the freewar EZ scenery addon?

Hi jagdflieger There´s no payware scenery or addon required for this scenery. it´s very important that the "Texas1962_LC" folder is below the "Texas1962" on the FS scenery libraries......"Texas1962_LC" contains all the flattens, landclass and exclusions. .....taking a close look at the pictures you post, The KHOU ramp and parking area is different from what I have....seems you still have Dan French´s KHOU (and probably KSAT) sceneries still active on your FS scenery library....both KHOU & KSAT sceneries by Dan French were fully integrated on this project, so they must be deactivated from the FS scenery folders....along with my previous KATT Austin Mueller scenery since the terminal was reworked and integrated on the scenery too....... sorry , I think this was my fault since I forgot to mention that important part on the readme file ....instead, I advised about that procedure on the Texas 1962 thread 2 days after the scenery was released. please check if you have active both KHOU & KSAT sceneries by Dan French and my KATT scenery....and deactivate/delete them since they are no longer necessary...I think that should fix the problem on Houston. BTW....I don´t know why the Dallas love is not showing up....you´ll have to verify if there´s another Dallas airport addon that may be causing conflict. All the best.

I did delete my previous Texas scenery before installing and activating the Texas 1962 files. The landclass is working well at all the airports that I've visited so far, but I have no buildings. This seems to be de rigeuer for every included field from Carswell AFB down to Corpus Christi as well as the airfields around Waco and Bergstrom AFB. The AI aircraft are all showing up at all the airfield (nice military collection by the way), just no buildings. I've moved the Texas 1962 folder up and down in the hierarchy through the scenery library, but to no avail. My earlier efforts in the Pacific NW, California and SW US have all worked out fine so I'm pretty sure that my video card is working. Here's a screen shot of Love Field. What is your FS scenery density setting? More than Normal?

It was all set at "Very Dense" so I tried dense for all the sliders and then back to "Very Dense" without any positive results with the buildings. Everything is turned on to include the Dynamic addon scenery.
I did have Fort Worth's Carter Airport in the original Texas 62 folder and it showed up just fine. I've now have a Texas 62 folder with only those specific files active right now in case there was some issues with that addon, but apparently that wasn't it.
I've got the three required extra scenery addons specified in the readme file installed so I'm just at a loss as to what's going on. All the other Calclassic scenery in other states and areas is functioning fine.

well, that screenshot is very strange jagdflieger.... you´re not just missing all the buildings we included on the texas 1962 scenery folder, including downtown...I can see you´re also missing all the ramp objects, vehicles, ramp lights, parking lightpoles that were placed.....those objects were taken from the CC mega object library V3 compilation and are located on the ''static objects library'' folder .... I don´t know why all those objects are missing too....at first sight, looks like if your ''static object library'' folder is deactivated, but if you say other airports are working fine, with all the objects, and buildings....then I'm beginning to get lost too. seems I´ll have to check in my system and try to reproduce your error.... any ideas from other members¿¿¿

Perhaps you have some other scenery installed that you are not aware of. Deactivate all addon scenery except Texas 62, them try it with only Static object Library added.

Ha, ha! Yes, I'm totally lost too. I may just go through and delete all the Texas 1962 files and just install the separate airfields: Carter, Waco, Houston, Midway and Waco, and call it good at that. What I would like to keep though is all the military AI from the 1962 package. I guess I need to keep the AFCAD files and the traffic files intact to do so. I'm familiar with the traffic files as I often modify those, but the AFCADs I'm not sure about. How are they titled? Are they the AF2 prefixed files? Here is a screen shot of my scenery library.
