Have added 1956 charts and various pics for Gander to my Flickr page. Link to the page: www.flickr.com/photos/12530375@N08/In looking through the information on Gander I was blown away by the beautiful 1960s interior of the terminal which is still in place. There were articles about demolishing the old terminal as it is now too large superfluous for the traffic that now uses the airport. Unsure if this has gone ahead that there were groups that wanted the building saved as it is and maybe have a community use. Certainly hope so. Also, Chris, with Halifax are you planning the current airport which came into use in 1960 or the old Dartmouth (Shearwater) airport which was Halifax's airport up to 1960. All of my old Canadian charts are pre 1960, so hopefully someone will have 1960s Halifax charts. John

I'll probably do both, maybe leaving them both open so that the user may pick either one and the corresponding AI traffic will work. Its likely that both airports at least existing in their entirety within that year, so its realistic too.

Have uploaded 1956 and 1959 charts for Winnipeg along with various pics of the early terminal and the 1960s terminal to my Flickr page. You can see the difference to the airport between 1956 and 1959 with the closure of Rwy 08/26 and the opening of the new runway 07/25. Again would be great if both versions could be done. Naturally I would be installing the early one. Link to the page: www.flickr.com/photos/12530375@N08/John

I'll probably be doing two versions of almost every airport, seeing as many airports went through a plethora of changes through 1958 - 1964. Thakns as always John!

Goose Bay has been added to my Flickr page. Charts for 1956 and a variety of pics from the 1940s through to the 1970s. Some of the pics may look to be of various aircraft but I have included them as they do show details of buildings in the background. Link to the page: www.flickr.com/photos/12530375@N08/John

Hey guys! Finally an update here, though it's not as much as I would like to be able to say. Most of my work in Canada 1960 has been on the AFCADS, most of which are getting there now, but I've got a little bit to show for the 3D bits. Here, from the later version of YYZ that will be included:

Your Canada project is very welcome because all these airports are much needed for classic flights. Nice to have you here ! Do you plan a work about Whitehorse too ?
Cheers.

I've gotten some more work done, mainly on Edmonton after I finished the Toronto terminal. Kinda all over the place with this project.

Hey Chris, Just a quite note to say "HI" - hoping this project hasn't died ... really stoked about this, needless to say. Found a couple of little photos of Dorval ... 1967, mind you, but nevertheless ... Hope you're well! Daniel
