Shalom and greetings all my pals,'
I have installed into FSX Deluxe with SP1 and SP2 under Windows 7 two CalClassics addons: CV-440 and CV-580.
CV-440 work fine in FSX Deluxe with SP1 and SP2 with all functioning gauges in the cockpit panel.
However unfortunately for CV-580 in FSX Deluxe with SP1 and SP2, my FSX refused to recognize some gauges with announcement that those gauges are for FS98 and would not work in FSX Deluxe with SP1 and SP2. So CV-580 has few missing gauges and missing trottles as well as missing mixture levels.
Since I am guessing that other users of CV-580 have no problem flying that plane in FSX, I assume I must have installed in wrong way. So can anybody please be kind enough to point me to CalClassics' authorized and correct CV-580 panel for use of FSX Deluxe with SP1 and SP2 OR provide here the direct link to that, please?
Thanks,
Aharon

The CV-580 base pack on my CV-580 page contains a panel that is FSX compatible. There is also a link to Bjoern's CV-580 made for FSX SP2.
Hope this helps,

Tom,
I re-installed it and it seemed to work now with all functioning gauges. Struck me strange that this CV-580 plane does not have mixture levels?
Take look at this screenshot and I do not know if this gauge is important or not??
Thanks,
Aharon

It's the DME gauge, not very important. I can't see that it is used at all in my panel, so you will never miss it.
Turboprops do not use mixture levers. Some do have "condition levers", which can be somewhat similar. If you want to turn off the engines you can use Ctrl-F1 to turn off the fuel (use Ctrl-F4 to turn it on again), or use the fuel switches on the overhead panel.

I can't remember what I did to the CV-580 panel, but I do remember that I don't get a message about incompatible gauges. There's just the standard "Do you want to load blahblah" warnings.

Tom, thanks for all answers and tips on how to start or turn off engines.

Bjoern, LOL Me too but at least I appreciate how Windows 7 is being careful when it comes to new files
Tom, what amazes and surprises me is that CV-580 has some electronic readings in gauges!! I thought CV-580s would be way before digital gauges were invented.
