Philipsburg KPSB: If you were flying to see a Penn State game in the 50's and 60's this would be your closest airport, roughly 20miles north west. There is barely enough room to fit two DC-3's but i doubt there was much overlapping traffic at the time. At 3000ft in length, stopping a full CV-440 can be quite the adventure.

Philipsburg, I never even heard of it before. It looks great!
One thing I have found out over the years is that quite often it is more fun creating these small airport sceneries than to create a large airport.
One suggestion - Instead of using that fence lib. fence, try using the "terminal fence" that I made. Its a great 3 foot tall fence such as would be around the apron side of a terminal. It is in the "Classic Objects" library that is in the static objects library download. That fence is much finer than that thick thing from fence lib. It also has less of a "twinkle" or a flash to it from a distance.
There is another fine fence that is also in the Classic Objects library, and it is the "chain link fence". Tom made that one. I tend to use that one around airports or such as it is much better looking that the old "fence lib" fences are.

I also find it more enjoyable flying in to the smaller airports especially if they only have basic navaids or are VFR only. My 1950s Jepessen manuals get quite a lot of use. Also really prefer the 30s and 40s terminal buildings as opposed to the later glass buildings. The Philipsburg screenshot looks good and will enjoy flying the DC-3 into there when it is completed.

Great, you're making progress. That will be another state covered in classic scenery.

Some time back I made a list of the classic US airports that are available for us to fly in and out of. You would be surprised like I was just how much scenery has been created especially over the last two or three years. I would like to add my appreciation of the scenery creators who take the time and effort to do this. It certainly has to be a labour of love.

I present, Bradford-McKean Regional Airport (KBFD)1959 Small feeder airport located in north central Pennsylvania, serviced by both Allegheny and Mohawk in the 50's. For those that don't know, Bradford Pa is the home of ZIPPO lighters and the oldest continuously operating oil refinery in the US.

KJST: Johnstown Airport - Another small regional airport serviced by Allegheny in the 50's and 60's. Johnstown is probably most famous for the 70's Ice Hockey movie "Slapshot" and the Johnstown Chiefs hockey team.

These are very nice little airports That 340 looks like a monster when parked next to the small terminal! Don't forget about Johnstown's other famous thing, the flood! Oh, one other thing, I see you are using one of those "GA Hangars" from the static objects library (or at least it looks like one of them). Is it gray are are you missing a texture? Could just be the photo, also.
