After SVMI i decided to turn my attention to more domestic destinations. Wanted to give everyone a quick preview of what I am currently working on: Harrisburg Airport (1958): KCXY (Finished) - Had to adjust traffic files with this one. 1957 traffic file routed all AI to KMDT which at the time was called Olmsted Airbase. KMDT airport did not handle airline service until 1968. I will upload the corrected traffic file if I am allowed to do so. I will also do a 1962 version of this airport, just not anytime soon. Olmsted Airforce Base (1958): KMDT (WIP) Lots of custom building, probably be finished last.

Beautiful work. Do you need any further information on Olmstead AFB?

Further to Olmsted. Runway 13/31 was closed by October 1957. Have uploaded some old airfield charts for Olmsted to my Flickr page and you can see the difference from 1955 to 1957. It appears the base was completely rebuilt in the early 60s. Link to the page: www.flickr.com/photos/12530375@N08/John

I seem to recall that someone had started Greater Pittsburgh KPIT a fair while back or am I confusing it with another airport. It would certainly be a welcome addition to the classic scenery. In the meantime I have added vintage charts and pics for KPIT to my Flickr page along with an album. Link to the page: www.flickr.com/photos/12530375@N08/John

I believe Al Courtney had started PIT, but he's very busy with other things at the moment.

John,
Any chance you have charts for KIPT (Williamsport), Bradford PA, Erie Pa, State College(Mid-state)Pa, Oil City PA, Johnstown and Altoona?
Sorry, I'm asking for a lot. If I get this done all Allegheny destinations in PA will be covered.
Thanks in advance!

Hi Infiniti Have following from your list that would be suitable for the classic era:
Altoona 1959 Bradford 1960 Erie 1959, 1961, 1962 Johnstown 1960, 1961 Williamsport 1960
For Oil City do you mean Franklin (Chess-Lamberton). This is the only commercial airport I can see that is close to Oil City. If so, I have 1969 charts for that airport.
The charts I have for State College are much later.
Let me know which ones you would particularly like and I'll work on them through the week and upload them to my Flickr page.

John If you could be kind enough to upload the following: Altoona 1959 Bradford 1960 Erie 1959 Johnstown 1960 Williamsport 1960 In regards to Oil City, I'm looking for KFKL or Franklin in whatever year you have available. State College is probably Mid-State airport (KPSB) aka Phillipsburg. Again, I really appreciate your help!

Hi,
Yes, Allegheny served Franklin and Phillipsburg.

I have Philipsburg for 1953, 1954, 1962 and 1968. You can see quite a difference in the runway lengths between 1954 and 1962. I'll do them all as they may also be of help for members wanting to fly into the airport.
As to Franklin, have approach plates for 1969 and airport diagrams for 1964 and 1965. Again, I'll scan all that I have.
