Yes, the traffic file is included in Scenery folder. It's named "traffic_Air_Afrique_Cargo_DIAP". There are three things needed:
- aidc4 Air Afrique Cargo (see aircraft folder) - AF2_1IAP (see Scenery Folder) - traffic_Air__Afrique_Cargo_DIAP (see Scenery folder as already said)
I added this cargo version to avoid having passenger stairs while the AI is in maintenance. Thanks for the answer. The three things needed were present, and I solved my problem this way: I have modified the traffic density from 50% to 20% in your traffic file bgl. The static cargo was not seen because my traffic densiy is set to 30% in the sim parameters ! Thank you again for sharing these sceneries. Cheers.

Curious, because I always set traffic at 100 percent and think having all AI on my screen, hopefully. Reducing density to see AI which wasn't visible before, that's really new for me!

Here the readme from TTools:
"Traffic Percent: This specifies at what level of the FS ‘Traffic Percent’ setting (on the ATC/Traffic settings window) this flight will appear. If this is 56% then this AI flight will only appear if the traffic percent control is 56% or greater. This must be between 1 and 100%. If you run with 100% traffic all the time then this value is not important."
Works this way for me.
All the best.

He lowered the value in the traffic BGL, not the slider in FS.

Good Morning!
I´m new to this Forum, although I have visited the CalClassic site frequently over the past few years. First I´d like to say Thank You to the people who created and maintain this site, and to all the developers who share their work with us!
I have installed everything that is available here, and so far everything is working nicely. Now I ran into one little problem that I can´t solve alone: I installed the new West Africa scenery, everything went well, but I do not know how to modify the traffic file as per the readme. I looked into the CalClassic Traffic Folders, but I can´t locate the file "flightPlansWorld_1959.txt" that is mentioned in the readme.
Could someone explain how this is done?
Thanks, Wolfgang

Hi Wolfgang: first, you ave to download "FS2002/FS2004 TrafficTools" By Lee Swordy from www.flightsim.com/, and install it. Then you have to learn how to use these tools with the well done readme included. With these tools, you will be able to decompile/modify/recompile Tom's files (Traffic_1959.bgl, TrafficWorld_1959.bgl, Traffic_1962.bgl, TrafficWorld_1962.bgl) located under the "Addon Scenery\CalClassic Traffic 1959" & "Addon Scenery\CalClassic Traffic 1959" folders. But perhaps Tom will update these traffic files soon and there is no need for you to do all this stuff. Cheers.

But perhaps Tom will update these traffic files soon and there is no need for you to do all this stuff. The package isn't part of "officical" CalClassic sceneries. Therefore it doesn't make sense to update traffic files. The use of the addon and doing the modification is up to oneself. There isn't any obligation to follow strictly my readme. You also might leave as it is by default. Bernard

Bernard,
I could update the classic AI package if I could include the AFCAD files in your package into the AI AFCAD zip file so even people who don't have your package installed would have the missing airports (albeit without complete scenery). Would this be OK?

Basically that would be ok. There just will be some mismatches between my Afcad and the buildings placed by default at bigger airports or missing totally as the Afcad deletes them.

I will look at those and see if I can make some quick changes to those AFCADs, at least to avoid parking spots inside buildings, etc.
