Hi,
Right click those files, then choose Open With...
Then if it is a file type of HTM or HTML choose your favorite web browser to open it. If it is a file type of TXT choose WordPad or Notepad to open it.
Hope this helps,

Hi,
Make sure those files are outside any Program Files folder when you try to access them.

Hi,
Is this using Internet Explorer? Can you open it using any other browser? (if you have one). Right click the file and choose Open With, and choose the other browser.

I noticed that the address for the files you're looking for is C:/FS/FS2004/Aircraft/340pnlKMCC/CV-340%20PANEL%20OPERATIONS/Notepad.htm. This implies that the file "Notepad.htm"(note the capitalization) should be located in this folder. Do the files actually reside in this particular folder? If so, is the spelling/capitalization correct?
Sometimes the capitalization thing throws people when trying to go to websites. Email addresses don't pay attention to upper/lower case, but most everything else does, like passwords, file locations, file names, etc.
Hope this might be of some value. . .

I assume you are trying to open the HTM versions of these files (the file Type will be something like Firefox HTML Document). How are you trying to open these HTML files? Give us a step by step description of what you do. Have you tried RIGHT CLICKING the file, choosing Open With... and choosing your favorite file browser?
There is no file named Panel Reference in the CV-340 download.
Hope this helps,

Hallo, I added a attachment to show the htm file with the links. This file is in the 340pnlKMCC map inside the aircraft map of fs9. This because we speaking and writing in circles i think. Doc1.doc (139 KB)

Hi, OK, now I understand where you are having the problem. You are right, there is a link problem. When I created the links, I assumed my HTML program would create relative links, but it did not. It is interesting, because that link problem has existed for several years now and no one has reported it. I guess no one uses those links. Anyway, I've updated all of my aircraft with ref files that have valid links no matter where FS is installed, so that problem should be solved. Note that I did not change the "updated on" date on the web pages for such a small change. If you don't want to download the planes again, you can download this small zip file: www.calclassic.com/Temp/Ref_File_Update.zipand manually copy and paste these updated ref files into the proper folder (all located in the FS2004/Aircraft or FSX/SimObjects/Airplanes folder). It will overwrite the existing file. Thanks for pointing this out to me, I appreciate it. Take care,

But the problem get worse now after opening the zipfile my computor is sending and telling me that window 10 microsoft edge is set back to default and that there is a problem with htm app. I recently downloaded the CV340 and hav,t any problems when opening the htm file,s and no warnings at all only that the correct website was not found.
So very strange there for i deleted the zip file from my computor.
