Ah, thank you for that. The white top seems to have been introduced somewhat after the code for VP-16 at KeflavĂk changed from HH to LF in1957. Before that they seem to have been all grey indeed. But the shiny 140969/SB-10 can be explained as well: this was a VP-2 bird from Whidbey Island, must have been on TDY in Iceland! Erik

Thanks for your argument in favour of my defence! In fact the only two white top Neptune available for FS9 have never been based at BIKF. The one is the payware Alphasim LG 140986 and the other Tom's YD 143178. So no great choice to be perfectly accurate.
