Hello everyone, I've been using the Calclassic aircraft for a long time and have just finally decided to sign up. I'm using FSX and I have this unusual problem with the Dc-6 (both DC-6 and DC-6b). The rpm indicator on engines three and four is always lower then it should be while the one on engines 1 and 2 seems to be indicating correctly. On takeoff engines 1 and 2 go up to 2800 rpm while 3 and 4 go up around 2700. During later stages of flight as I reduce the power the rpm on engines 3 and 4 is always 100-200 lower than on 1 and 2. The BMEP gauge seems to be indicating the same for all engines.

I think i have found the problem. I have also installed the Calclassic CV-340 package and in the gauges folder i see the same Z_DC6KM and Z_DC6KMTG folders as in the DC-6 package.

Hi,
I checked the DC-6 panel in my FSX and all RPM gauges are reading the same. So I don't know what's wrong? Try pressing Ctrl F4 before revving the engines?

I fixed the problem by reinstalling the DC-6b base package. But, if I reinstall the Convair-340 package again the problem persists. Are these two aircraft not meant to be used side by side?

Thank for the report. I'll see if the 340 panel has outdated gauges.

Hi,
Turns out the CV-240, CV-340, and M404 Base Packs all had outdated RPM gauges. They have been updated and uploaded.
Thanks,

I'm glad to have discovered something by accident. I love all the aircraft on the site. It's quite hilarious that the Constellation, DC-6, and CBFSIM Viscount are all significantly more complex than the payware JustFlight aircraft.

They're a labor of love, not money.
