Thank you Tom for your sustained effort, this works! I don't know who wrote the parser for the xml coding at MS, what a mess. The "Leave" event can be left out, seems not to be triggered. I designed the lenght of the slide switch and the way it traveled so, that it will stay definitively below the cursor. Cheers Bernie

Hi, while continue work with the exterior model here a few screenshots. The open rear door with the galley... and the new forward cargo hold. The nice United texture is original by Dennis Kim with some touch up's by me. Cheers Bernie

I'm looking forward to the improved model. I have a 1963 North Central repaint nearly finished I'll hold for the new release.

The aircraft looks spot-on, so I guess the 3-views did come in handy! And great to see that somebody uses my simple road traffic models.

Those UAL CV-440 pics do look bang-on point! I sincerely hope an FS9 model is in mind.

Hi Bernie,
I agree, what a beauty! Thanks for all of your hard work on this. I'll be checking back constantly (way too constantly, according to my wife!) to watch your progress. This is going to be a great gift for the CalClassic community. Can't wait to get her lined up on the numbers.
Regards, Phil

Hi, quite a while since the last shown up here. But the progress was slow, since I had to fix some problems. 1) The cockpit was too short and the bottom side of the overhead panel not flat. 2) To overcome the gauge back lighting problem with FSDS 3, I had to write a program that changes the emissive texture name in the .x - file. (similar as the "FsxTweak" program). The window frames are now integrated in the side walls. The side windows can be opened by clicking the crank (missing for the copilot, but will be fixed), the arm rests move by clicking it and the map when click at the copilot seat. More switches and the autopilot lever... ... the overhead unit with the electrical panels ... ... and at last the night effects. Cheers Bernie

Wow!
Really looking forward to this!
(The model is not going to be FSX native, is it?)

The custom VC animation code we've been working on is in FS9 format, and on Page 1 he says it's an FS9 model.

Bjoern: No not a native, it's a real Fs9 model. Since I can not help the community with Fs9 scenery, I will do it at least with my planes. Cheers Bernie

Tom: Well, Bernie might just have changed his mind, hence my inquiry. Bernie: It's okay. I just might do a FSX conversion myself (should I find the time).
