I've been trying to get the CalClassic DC-6B to appear in FSX Acceleration and not having any luck. The JBK DC-6s are showing up fine but CC's are not.
I've downloaded dc6b_cb16_cc.zip and first loaded the FS2004 aircraft into FSX using the method prescribed. I next ran the FSX conversion program for the same aircraft, contained in the same zip file, saved the old .cfg file (as instructed under a new name) and inserted the new one, also placed the thumbnail illustration into the texture file. Aircraft gauges, effects, sound & panel all installed exactly as prescribed. The aircraft thumbnail appears in the "select aircraft" screen but when it is selected (UAL DC-6B 1958) the sim states it has encountered a fatal error and is shutting down; it then restarts and presents the same situation all over again.
I've been around in circles twice on this now and figured I'd stop for a little break. I'd sure like to keep these things in FSX if I can but it's looking more and more like I won't be able to.

Hi,
In your dc6pnlKMCC folder open the panel.cfg file and check the bottom of the file. If these lines are present then the FSX panel.cfg file did not overwrite the FS2004 version.
gauge73=CC_Engine_Control!Engine_Control, 8,8,5,5 gauge74=Z_DC6KMTG!ENGINE_AUTOSTART_4, 5,5,11,11 gauge75=Z_DC6KMTG!AIRCRAFT_RELOAD, 10,10,11,11
If these are the last gauges in the listing, just delete these three lines. If not, place // in front of each line.
Hope this helps,

Thank you, Tom, that appears to have done the trick!
