Hi, I recently came across this channel on YouTube from "TheFlightChannel". This guy lives in China I do believe, and he has done a remarkable job of recreating air disasters using FS. Not only just the disaster, but its mixed with actual videos of the crashes, and then an analysis of what when wrong and how it was fixed. Many of his several dozen videos are about crashes I had never heard of before. Some are more familiar, but have been neglected by the commercial cable programs on TV. I find his videos to be informative, and not just cheesy crash videos. Similar to "Mayday" episodes that used to be shown on cable TV. Here is one of his videos, this one is the 1960 mid air collision between a TWA Constellation and a United DC-8 over New York City.
Here is the link to his YouTube channel and all his videos.

Morbid obsession judging by the number of videos he has produced.

Morbid obsession judging by the number of videos he has produced.
Since his videos look into the causes of these accidents, to me it seems they are no different than the "Mayday" episodes (produced in Canada, by the way) that used to be shown on the History Channel, or Engineering Disasters, etc.
I'd rather watch his YouTube channel any day of the week rather than what passes for entertainment these days: "Hillbilly Handfishing", "Duck Dynasty", "Honey Boo Boo", "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" etc, etc. One reason I cancelled TV years ago and never wanted it back!
