Hallo,
I have the following problem with l-1649a 4.0 in fsx When i select the autopilot to ON and i turn the heading selector at the auto pilot panel the airplane starts turning to the left and it will not stop turning anymore even when i try to turn it back the airplane will not stop to the heading selected there is no heading hold anymore. I checked the aircraft.cfg autopilot settings and i try to change some setting but nothing works. (pitch mode or the bank mode no changes) i also use the fsx mdl file,s for fsx. I have this plane also in FS9 and there is no problem with the heading hold settings.
Hope you can help
rgds Willem.

Make sure your generators are turned on. It sounds like you are out of electricity.

Try loading the Default flight (Trike at Friday Harbor), then Go To Airport, then switch planes to the Starliner and take off.
If you can't find the default flight, quit FSX, edit the fsx.cfg file so the line reads:
SITUATION=
save it, and restart FSX.

Hallo thanks for the reply,
But sorry this will not work at all i think polar gauge will cause some problems. I found that when i push the "D" key at my key board i connect or disconnect the heading hold functie on the polar gauge i can use the heading bug at the gauge to steer but when i use the knob on the auto pilot panel i disconnect the heading hold function and i starts to turn to left. Also the ILS function does,t work at all a very strange behavior of the auto pilot.
