Barnstorming was a form of entertainment in which stunt pilots performed tricks—either individually or in groups called flying circuses. Devised to “impress people with the skill of pilots and the sturdiness of planes,” it became popular in the United States during the Roaring Twenties. Barnstormers were pilots who flew throughout the country selling airplane rides and performing stunts; Charles Lindbergh first began flying in this capacity. Barnstorming was the first major form of civil aviation in the history of aviation.¨ “Barnstorming season” ran from early spring until after the harvest and county fairs in the fall. Most barnstorming shows started with a pilot, or team of pilots flying over a small rural town to attract local attention. In some towns the arrival of a barnstormer or an aerial troupe would lead to a town-wide shutdown as people attended the show! Worried about finding a suitable airfield and scenery for barnstroming flights, I opted for Coupeville Airshow scenery. Its intended to be used with default FS9, but it fits quite well with vintage era too. I just completed it with a vintage AI traffic. Some Curtiss Jenny ready for taking off to a pattern flight with overview of the scenery. I let one of the Curtiss flying through a barn. There are some opportunities to do such flights with GW3 too. Barnstormers performed a variety of stunts. One of these was wingwalking. This here is just done as static object. Strange that nobody created such a flyable aircaft. Could be amazing! Bernard

The scenery and aircraft really capture the vintage era Bernard.

Thanks, Bernard, I found it, now to find Le Mans. Would that be for FS2004? Thanks for your 'different' Fs2004 things. It breaths new life into the sim.
Kind Regards, Robin Cape Town, South Africa
