Hi all,
I've been working on a model of the Britannia for some months, and this afternoon I uploaded it to Avsim. It includes the short-body srs. 102 and the long-body srs. 310. Colour schemes for BOAC (102 and 312), CPA, Cubana, British Eagle, BKS, Britannia Airways and an RAF C1. Separate downloads for FS2004 and FSX. They should be up at Avsim soon, at least tomorrow!
Best regards
Jens

Wow, that's great news. Mike and I have just been upgrading the AI versions too - quite a coincidence. Thanks,

Wow Jens, you've been busy. Thanks for another great aircraft. We're all indebted to you for all your hard work. As long as you're here, I was trying to post a thank you for your Felixstowe at CBFSim but couldn't post anything for some reason. Thanks again for these wonderful aircraft, they're a great addition to our hangars.

Dear Jens,
Can you please PM me your address so I can send you a little gift? You're contributions to the hangar have made it necessary for me to send you a bottle of beer, or at least to send the money to buy some for yourself. Or wine, or juice. Whatever spins your prop.
Thanks JBK!

Thanks Jens! How nice for a FS9 and an FSX version. I'm downloading it now and can't wait to give her a whirl! The shape looks right on--- got to love that Britannia nose Thanks once again. Mike

Hi,
Jens, thanks again for a wonderful model! ;D ...one of only a couple of turbo-props I can fly, too! I flew her around Italy tonight and no problems at all...flies just as advertised.
I do have one comment though. There is (on my system, FS9, Nvidia 7900GTS, AMD 3700+) The VOR/ADF gauge overlaps the VSI most of the time. ...just the outer edge of the gauge, so no problems using it, but it flickers in an out. I've seen this happen with the DC-4 and DC-6 also. (Different gauges on some, but the offending gauge is in the same place on all 3 panels.
Wow, a turboprop I can fly! I'm HAPPY! ;D

Jens, I have to second (and third) all the positive comments thus far made about your fabulous Britannia. My first flight, just around the 'patch', was a pure joy. Modeling is, of course, excellent, but I really enjoyed the flight characteristics. Now I'm looking forward to all the future repaints.
Thanks again, Jens
Bob
