Sydney airport had a sign in that video that said Quarantine KEEP OUT.

Can anybody tell me why?

Until 1984 Sydney had a quarantine station, where sick immigrants were taken until well. I assume this was the area at the airport where they were taken before being transported to the quarantine station.

The other possibility is that it is a pet quarantine area, much like that at the Honolulu airport.
