Several years ago there already was a question here about the Poland 30's scenery package. But nobody have been able to find it again. I started myself several times researchs on the web. Some weeks and by pure hazard, I came across the package in the SOH library. It isn't a masterpiece, I agree. Most objects are our of the RWY12 library. Considerung the general lack of vintage sceneries, it's nevertheless quite acceptable. I wouldn't do it better anyway ... Here the airport Warsaw Mokotow, which was the main city airport until 1947. Hi Bernard Which AF2 file refers to this airport.
Just for interests sake I'd like to see how this looks as a stand alone scenery.
Thanks John

The Afcad's have been renamed as meanwhile some airfields are in other countries. Warsaw Mokotow is called 1AWA. BTW, I missed to replace the airport textures included in the package. Now the grass looks better then in the screenshot above. Here the airfield at Krakow. Bernard

Hi Bernard Have Mokotow looking as it should. Located the correct AF2 and the relevant Exclude files.
Getting a Cessna in and out is okay but it is very tight with the L.O.T. Lockheed 10.
Hopefully, one day we will have a Classic creation of the current Warsaw Airport.

This was a great collective effort by Polish simmers. You can read a history of their efforts (translated into English) here: il2forum-pl.translate.goog/index.php?PHPSESSID=1pvsvtrbp46reu4tlnd18eg8t3&topic=8486.0&_x_tr_sl=pl&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=en-US&_x_tr_sch=httpTo quote a translated section regarding the airport codes used: So I created a country marked "Poland 30's"and groups Polish airports there. Of course, within the borders of Poland from the interwar period. This solved the problem of liquidating airports that did not exist at that time, both in the areas of today's Poland, as well as in Ukraine, Belarus and Lithuania. The code that I accepted consists of a number that signifies the country - in the case of Poland, the number "1" (eg Wolne Misto GdaĆsk has "0", and if we wanted to add a German or Czech airport for the needs of a rally, the next numbers would be used). Then the airport category, but in addition to the actual AE categories (from that period), I also introduced additional (for the time being) letters F - field airfield, V - airship port and X - small aeroclub landing sites and finally two letters describing the airport itself. For Golden Wings Poland, search for the file golden_wings_poland.zip on Sim-Outhouse.com. For the vintage Mokotow Airfield, search for Mokotow_Airfield.zip on Sim-Outhouse.com. You may have to register first with the site to download the file.

Thanks for the translated link. I have been there several times, but didn't unterstood anything, of course. I added a 1930 based LOT traffic to Polish airfields, as well as to Vienna und Bucarest. While missing a LOT repaint for a Fokker VII, I use a Ford Tri-Motor done by Edward C. Moore and Garry J. Smith. taking off from Danzig Next I intend to add some traffic there with other airlines like Deruluft and Deutsche Luft Hansa. Even if the timetables of the later are built up extremely complicated and reminds more to a knitting pattern! Bernard

Took some practice but now have the L.O.T. Electra landing comfortably at Mokotow. Final approach. From the cockpit. Touching down. On the ground. Waiting for new passengers. John
