Oh how times have changed.....not only are the beautiful Connies long gone but so is almost everything else that is mentioned in that movie.
Flying nowadays has none of the pleasantness ...unless you are lucky enough to fly in your own airplane ;D

Yes, the Connie film documentary is excellent, starring Arthur Godfrey as the pilot. I think Youtube carries it in about 10 parts, probably due to space limitations per upload. If you haven't seen it and you love the Connie like a lot of us here, you owe it to yourself to watch the entire documentary.

The full length movie is available on VHS tape from this location: www.1940airterminal.org/This is the 1940 original terminal building at Houston Hobby airport. You can click on 'gift shop' under the Museum banner on the left side of the page. All purchases go toward the continued restoration of the old terminal building. A worthy cause. Jesse
