Hello everyone, I am having a bit of a problem concerning the Stratocruiser available from CalClassic's website. I have downloaded and installed the "Base Pack," as well as the Update Pack. The only "extras" that I downloaded and installed for this plane were the texture packs available on the webpage, and the exhaust/flame pack (which I haven't installed as of this time). I adhered to the Update Pack's instructions concerning installation. The problem is that any time I select this aircraft (regardless of model) and click on the "Fly Now!" button, the game crashes, regardless of airport selected. What can be the cause of this?

Hi,
Is this for FSX? If so, make sure you follow the instructions in the FSX Conversion folder.
If for FS2004, try this:
Look in the plane's panel folder and open the panel.cfg file. Find lines like this near the bottom of the file (the gauge numbers may be different):
gauge50=CC_Engine_Control!Engine_Control, 8,8,5,5 gauge51=Z_DC6KMTG!ENGINE_AUTOSTART_4, 5,5,11,11 gauge52=Z_DC6KMTG!AIRCRAFT_RELOAD, 10,10,11,11
Change them to:
//gauge50=CC_Engine_Control!Engine_Control, 8,8,5,5 //gauge51=Z_DC6KMTG!ENGINE_AUTOSTART_4, 5,5,11,11 //gauge52=Z_DC6KMTG!AIRCRAFT_RELOAD, 10,10,11,11
And save the file.

Hi Tom, I'm running the mod on FS2004 - and your solution worked perfectly! Thanks!

Glad to hear it. Some computers just don’t like those gauges.
