Here some fictitious, but amazing repaints of de Havilland 104 Dove. I involved these in imaginary flights too, which at least have relation with the environment they intended to be. New Zealand's 'Southland Scenic' scheduled for flights between Hokitika, Franz Josef Glacier and Haast airports. In a way a presumed competitor of the real 'Southern Scenic Service', included in 1962 CalClassic traffic. I liked the whethered textures. David MacBrayne is a limited company owned by the Scottish Government and until 1965 operated a large bus network. The company still owns a very important fleet of ferries. It's the main carrier for freight and passengers in the Scottish Hebrides. Therefore the fictitious DH.104 repainted in former bus colors does flights between Glasgow and the main Hebrides airports like Stornoway, Barra, Tree and Benbecula. Rhodesian Air Service effectively operated an DH Dove in 1965, according to the only timetable available. It did scheduled flights from Salisbury (now Harare) to Bulawayo, Fort Victoria and Chiredzi, all in Southern Rhodesia (Zimbabwe). Eni S.p.A.is an Italian multinational oil and gas company headquartered in Rome. In Europe it's particularly known by it's gasoil brand 'Agip'. There isn't known whether the former chairman of Eni, Enrico Mattei, was flying with a company own DH Dove, if they ever ran one. However, Agip-SANM owned a private jetplane 'Morane-Saulnier MS 760 Paris'. In 1962, Mattei's airplane exploded over Lombardy on his way to Milan from Catania. The cause of the accident remained a mystery. Bernard

Nice pics Bernard with good imaginative stories behind them. Good timing as well. Yesterday I was looking for a Dove painted in BOAC colors to put in the 1957 Traffic of Ken and I RAF Burtonwood. Seems a plane spotter had one landing there on Feb 2, 1957 G-AKCF DH.104 Dove 2 BOAC as entered in the log. Unfortunately I have not found any BOAC paint of a Dove. Anyone know of one? And while I’m asking anyone run across on of these: C-47 of the Royal Danish or Royal Norwegian Air forces
Thanks

Al,
Over at Flightsim.com there are several repaints of the default DC-3 in Royal Danish AF colors. They're by Kim Dahl. There are various other aircraft as well to include some of Mike Stone's models. There are some scenery files as well.

Thanks Jorge, I did find those right after posting the above as I had realized I hadn’t looked for the two C-47s. I hadn’t seen the stone models except the c-119, really wanted that Dove but it doesn’t seem to exists

Unfortunately I have not found any BOAC paint of a Dove. Anyone know of one? Look at this package: www.flightsim.com/vbfs/fslib.php?do=copyright&fid=100500It includes a texture folder namend "GARDE" which is in fact a Devon immatriculated G-ARDE and shows an BOAC repaint. I used it with my ILA Hannover 1962 traffic. Bernard

WOW, thanks Bernard for pointing this out. I already have this installed, just didn't look at the flyable version yesterday before I started to search for one. This solves my problem.
