Always love to do some plane watching at a busy airport. Good catch nabbing the Flying Tiger CL-44.

Newark has been my home for the last 6 years. Those cranes in the background are a familiar sight, and it's neat to see the history still hidden in the taxiways. Another new terminal is under construction btw...

Nice shots! I remember the rumor a while back regarding Terminal A. It was the last of the "original" terminals from the expansion era. The others had already been torn down or extensively remodeled by the time I started flying out of there with CoEx in 2011. Lots of memories out of there. I remember the "dungeon" underneath the central pod where CoEx had it's offices VERY well. I would sometimes commute in late for an extremely early departure and would have to nap in the crew room for a few hours. I even remember the last flight I took out of there as a commuter before transferring to IAH. It was on JetBlue to FLL and we departed out of A17 - the one with the flag honoring United 93 which departed from that very gate on 9/11. I miss flying the real stuff. Guess I'll always have the virtual stuff, though! The best part is I can't get ramp checked! Jorge Miami, FL PS: The original terminal is still standing, albeit on the other side of the airport where the old hangar used to be. You could always make it out because of the glass tower area. It's now the PAPD and TSA headquarters building, if I remember correctly.

It doesn't exist yet (I believe). It would be behind the photographer in the last picture.
