I know we're in the midst of Connie-mania, but I had to keep myself occupied waiting for the Super H/G ;D Anyhow, I thought this was an interesting one. I was surfing the net for oldprops last year and whilst going through the Buffalo Airways website, found a reference of an old DC-3 for sale. One of the few remaining DST sleeper 3's left around. Of course its seen better days, doesn't look very happy and is losing its paint and integrity day by day waiting for a buyer. The badly faded titles proclaim it to be Arctic something or other, surfed on its registration when I found a pic of its tail CF-VQV and then ran it through the Canadian Aircraft registry. It still shows being registered to an Arctic Outpost Camps Ltd from 1970 on. Hard to tell what find of font was used, but I tried putting something on that fit. By the passenger door it says "MIKE HACKMAN + CLIFF ARMSTRONG Your Host" Anyhow, I had a desire to bring the old bird back to life. Check out the pics of the old bird in its less flyable condition www.abpic.co.uk/search.php?q=CF-VQV&u=regwww.ruudleeuw.com/reddeer06-buffalo.htmwww.airliners.net/photo/Arctic-Outpost-Camps/Douglas-DC-3A-DST/0690369/L/&tbl=&photo_nr=15&sok=&sort=&prev_id=0690370&next_id=0690368

Thanks Pete. I do not in any way to claim to be a 'repainter' after some of our advanced (and highly admired) repainters, but I thought I would try and post it. Not worried I am going to be hacked too much
