By pure hazard I got to the airfield of KGTU Georgetown, TX. It's a small place, part of 'Texas 1962' scenery package. As my AI Traffic Mover doesn't shown any traffic, I added a C-60A Lodestar, supposed to do a charter flight. Maybe and hopefully there would be some more of such forgotten but nice places. Bernard

Nice find Bernard. And an excellent shot. There is a whole bunch of small fields like that in the 62 scenery, I know I had to check them all after Juan built each one but can’t say I remember this one. We did not build any traffic except military for that scenery relying on Calclassic traffic only.

Nice one Bernard. There are a lot of interesting airports in the Texas scenery. I would have to pan in to show the dark pins and the map would not fit in the screen.

Thanks Larry. A quite impressive amount of airports. I will visit them at least once in my life, virtually speaking of course! Some months ago I already did a post about Dalhart Airport and its particular trees.

Visited an other not very known airport: University of Illinois-Willard in Champaign-Urbana. Besides the small Ozark traffic, it's the base of University of Illinois Institute of Aviation. Here are shown some Piper Archer and a Beech 18 recently re-released at FlightSim. Bernard

Hi Bernard Is this a standard FS9 scenery? If so, it seems to fit into the Classic era quite nicely.
