With his Rome Fiumicino update, Tom added a small terminal to Palermo Punta Raisi Airport. Thanks for it, and the said update too. I slightly revamped the airfield, opened in 1960. Bernard

That was Michael Steven's work, glad you are enjoying it and expanding on it. Note that it is a generic terminal, not a custom object for this airport. I had to add another exclude file to remove the default terminal for some reason.

Tom,
When you mean "add another exclude" there, do you mean there is another one I'm not seeing that you guys put into the "exe" file, or something we need to do ourselves with ADE or one of the other programs?
No big deal if it's the latter, but just wanted to make sure I wasn't beating a dead horse trying to figure out why I'm just basically seeing the default airport all around, with the exception of a small terminal peeking out of the default one.
Thanks!

PS: Looking nice, Bernard!

Yes, I created another exclude BGL file using ExcBuilder. If you want it I can post it tomorrow.

Yes, I created another exclude BGL file using ExcBuilder. If you want it I can post it tomorrow. Sorry for the late reply, but that would be great! For those that are using more detailed mesh for the area, the steam from Mt. Vesuvius is a little off from the hole of the mountain. Once other, more pressing things are complete I'll see about posting a fix for those using LOD9 mesh from Simviation's website. Regards, Jorge Miami, FL

While let flying 1955 traffic, I replaced Palermo Punta Raisi with the older Palermo Boccadifalco LICP. Punta Raisi was opened only in 1960. Boccadifalco was than also an airfield of the Italian Air Force. At least until 1954, there was also seen the Fiat G 12, used by government officials flying to the Sicilian capital. Bernard
