Heather Sherman did a lot of repaints for several kinds of aircraft. She particulary created a substantial fleet with Bush Flying Unlimited liveries. Sonme days ago I discovered two interesting repaints which fit quitr well with classic era. The first is a Cessna 195 used by Mid-West Airlines in the early Fifties for its network based at Omaha and connecting several airfields in Mid-West. Here the nice Cessna 195 at Minneapolis-St. Paul airport among the 1955 traffic. The other aircraft is the Grumman Goose G21A N789. This plane was initially overtaken by the US Navy in 1944 and sold to US Fish & Wildlife Service in 1956. It then was ferried from Phoenix, AZ to Anchorage, AK. The ferry flight was done by Tim Wardleigh and took ten days. BTW, The Grumman Goose was originally designed as a commuter plane for wealthy businessmen and sportsman located in and around New York City. The G21 is shown at Eugene, OR - one of the multiple stopovers on the way to Alaska. A further airport to be visited in classic world. Bernard

Merited appreciations should go to the author! I just tried to put the repaints in appropriated light. Here two other shots. The Beeach 18 of 'Uncle Bob's Scenic Tours' appears in the movie 'Con Air' with Nicolas Cage. If flies over famous Fremont Street in Las Vegas. This hardly weathered DeHavilland DHC-2 is mooring at Lake Hood, just opposite Anchorage Intl Airport. Bernard
