8-)It is a challenge. I bought the DVD several months ago and I have been flying it on fs9. You have to stay on your toes; that's for sure.

It's indeed a challenge. In the beginning I was flying too high for a good approach. I was just too 'scared' to fly any lower!! Just imagine these guys in DC-4's etc...!! I will buy the DVD aswell for sure. There's one shot where a DC-4 is taking-off in very poor visibility. Under normal circumstances pure suicide!! But halfway the run the cloud bank disappears and there's clear sky ahead. The crew apparently checked that before they started the take-off. Awsome footage ;D
cheers.

Most awesome series of screenshots! May I ask what scenery you are using at Wrangell?

I like the markings on your DC3. May I ask where you acquired it? I would like to have a copy of it. Thanks, Dennis.

Yes Bronson Creek is indeed a fun airport to challenge yourself with. The DC-3 is relatively easy to take in and out of there as long as you are well familiar and comfortable with the old gal at the low end of her speed range.
It does get a bit more interesting in the DC-4 and 6 especially if the winds are not just right.
The screenshots are extremely nice...especially the last two ;D

Do you know what are the actual proffered routes for a hop from Wrangell to Bronson creek by any chance? I find it very difficult to maneuver inside the "saddle" coming form the west. On the other hand an eastern route may seem too long... I am using FS default scenery BTW.

Just follow the river and valley until you see the strip on your starboard. Pass the field and fly on for a short while and start a 270 degree LEFT HAND slow descending circuit. Try to keep an eye on the runway while turning. See the screenies for some reference. Oh yes, set your SIM to "ignore crashes". It might help... Happy landings.
