Despite everything, vintage flying still remains fascinating, at least for me! Anyway, a few days ago I came across A.F.Scrub's very nice Curtiss P-6E of the US Army Air Corps. In the Thirties they where based at Selfridge Field, MI. During Inter-War, this airfield has seen numerous legends and personalities, such as Charles A. Lindbergh, James "Jimmy" Doolittle, Cutis LeMay, Carl A.Spaatz and squadon commander Thomas C. Lamphier, the "killer" of Yamamoto, to just name a few. Bernard
