Thanks Alejandro for this very interesting advice. It's a welcome contribution, at least for those few who are involved in vintage flying! I certainly will download these editions and let me inspired by some articles and reviews.

Can’t wait to see what you come up with Bernard. Looks like a lot of good source material.

Methinks we should start our own 'Golden Years' version of FS2004, to celebrate 20 years of fun. I'm by no means a scenery designer, maybe we can throw around some ideas for a themed version of FS2004?
The late Garry Smith, of the Ford Tri-Motor Project, got me interested in simming again, after I got bored of the usual fly here-fly there kind of flying that I was doing. Since discovering his site, using all his scenery in a Tri-Motor themed install, I started having fun again, & also became a beta tester for him.
Bernard has done some really great stuff for the sim & hopefully can help with ideas for a new universe for us. The most interesting era for me, is a Golden/Platinum era, lets call it a Copper era, for want of a better name, populated with Lynn & Bill Lyons add-ons, amongst others.
Anyway, just an idea I had, thinking about the good old days of airships & other fun stuff. Garry Smith always said that simmings is all about Fun, Facts & Fiction......

Did the said magazine take inspiration from Edward C. Moore's "Timor package" (ford-tri-motor.net)? I added sometime ago and long before Alenjandro's post the very little traffic with a Boeing F4B-4. Bernard

Bernard, that's the first thing that I thought of, when I saw the runway on the Blimp. That Timor package is great fun. I've not seen anything like this in the newer sims.

I've not seen anything like this in the newer sims. And we will certainly never see it in future too. Nobody wants to pay for such gimmicks! Bernard
