I noticed the turn knob on the main panel doesn't really do anything. Full deflection and it barely banks at all. Pitch control is fine though. Has anyone experienced this before?

You are probably having a problem with a saved flight. Load the FS default flight, switch to the Convair, and take off. OK now?

Maybe I should fit VOR LOC to my DC-4 as well. . My VOR tracking a little er....not good. fshub.io/flight/2980875/report

Very little roll / turn with the knob full deflection. Same as the issue with the DC-6 here which needed a new A/P in the gauge folder. However I couldn't find any autopilot html file in the Convair gauges folder.

The Convair uses the one in the DC-6 gauges folder, unless you are talking about the 3D VC version, which is in the Convair folder as I remember. Or maybe not, it might use the 2D one for its operation.

The TG folder has the updated AP (AP_NEW) for the DC-6. In the DC6KM it has a AP file. Perhaps that one is causing the issue?

The current panels use the AP_NEW gauge in the TG folder. The old original AP gauge should not affect that. I can’t remember if it is still used in the copilots panel though. If so and you want to check that just put // in front of that gauge’s line in the panel.cfg file or rename the AP gauge in the KM folder to AP_backup.

I'm guessing I've installed another aircraft that has over written that folder. Once I installed the working AP_NEW into the folder, it worked.

Glad to hear it. I do fear that some of my Base Packs might have an old version that is overwriting the newer version when the user installs it, but I can’t find it…
