A couple years ago (2006?) I visited my local field CYXX to take some photos prior to the yearly airshow. The nice manager at Conair, the firefighting company invited me airside and I took the opportunity of grabbing a few snaps of their DC's While there who should drop in but the Snowbirds. I post the link here should anyone care to have a look. s22.photobucket.com/albums/b343/Abbotsford/Conair/Alex. PS the first photo doesn't belong there but always amuses me, it is the heavily fortified border between our two nations.

Kinda. Conair modified their Convair Waterbombers during modification with a different nosecap. I believe that it's custom made as it's not exactly the non-radar nose and it's not exactly the button nose. My guess is that since they don't need the radar (VFR only ops) they decided they also didn't need the nose for better visibility of the crew.
