I know some purists would probably like to boil me on oil for doing this but I couldn't resist and i think it looks quite nice on the DC-7. You decide...

Why not? NorthBest had this scheme on their intercontinental Boeing 747's! Very nice on the classic DC-7, too. Good job! Where could one get this, if one wanted it?

Looks OK on the old Doug. My favorite NWA scheme was the jet delivery scheme; I'm sure the DC would look good in that too.

Thanks guys! I just painted that one randomly to see what it would look like, I didn't know it would be liked as much as this! Why not? NorthBest had this scheme on their intercontinental Boeing 747's! Very nice on the classic DC-7, too. Good job! Where could one get this, if one wanted it? Len I wasn't planning to do anything with the paint initially. I just painted it as an exercise really, because I was bored. Buuuut I guess I could spruce up the areas I'm not happy with and release it to wherever it can be released to (I'll have to check the readme file for that), if some of you want it.

Hi, Perhaps you could do a DC6 one at the same time and that's a fine looking repaint on the 7! Andy.

Hi, Perhaps you could do a DC6 one at the same time and that's a fine looking repaint on the 7! Andy. Hey Andy! I just downloaded the DC-6 paint kit. I would like this one for my DC-7 hangar! Please let us know if you decide to post it, and the location. Thanks! Len Hehe okay, heres what I'm going to do; This weekend I'll work on cleaning up the DC-7 for a release. I just have to clean up the tail and it should be ready to go. I'll probably start on the DC-6 this weekend as well, so you guys shouldn't have to wait too long.

Hi, please don't forget that there is a new arrangement with opening/functional crew door, cargo bins and passenger door with airstair for the DC-6b. An update for the DC-6b paint kit is here : www.calclassic.com/files/dc6b_doors.zipBest Regards Wolfgang PS: DC-7, B, C and DC-6, A models will follow this summer/fall as Tom wrote.
