Those of you whom know me from HJG will also be aware that I live for part of each year within the Republic of Colombia, then for the remainder of each year in New Zealand. Below is a report I recently wrote regarding classic Colombian aviation (featuring both images and video links) in relation to a recent visit to Villavicencio (the propliner paradise of Colombia and home to some of the last of this countries once great propliner fleet) by myself, and my good Colombian friend and fellow HJG colleague .... Camilo LUENGAS .... and along with 3 other good Colombian aviation friends too, when we all travelled to Villavicencio together for the day. The following link will take you to my report as first published on the HJG forum a couple of weeks ago .... "DESTINATION VILLAVICENCIO .... home of the last of the once great classic Colombian propliner fleet !tonymadgehjg.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=2802ENJOY ! Mark & Gary:
Welcome! Make yourself at home! Dad-Tom will be back shortly after his fishing trip. I know Tom has been a long time contributor to HJG.
I don't know if a lot Members here remember that a while back, Cal Classics, HJG, & Retro AI, were all sister sites, on Marco's old board. It's important to remember that it's only through the generosity, time & effort, from Yourself & Tony, @ HJG, Tom here @ Cal Classic, & Kris @ Retro AI, that these valuable sites still are around today. I just want to say "Thanks".....
Stef
