Sweet screenies Don. I love the clouds. Is this FSX?

Any picture of a Connie is a good picture...but my vote would be for the first one. The prop-arcs and the stack-flames bring the picture to life and you can almost hear the roar of the R-3350s.
As for the clouds....IF you have both FSX and FS9 you can copy the entire Weather folder from FSX to the same location in FS9 and get most of the clouds in the older sim.
Just make sure you have a back-up of the original folder in case you need to go back for FPS or other reasons.

Hi Stefan,
I have been using FSX clouds in Fs9 since it's release. Never thought of importing the weather themes, so thanks for the tip. Actually I have tried other FSX textures into Fs9, but it just crashes the sim, even after changing the textures over into an Fs9 format.

It is FSX and I am using FEX for clouds and environments. Lots of flexibility. Thanks for the great models to do screenies of.

The Weather folder is the only one that seems to work pretty much without any changes on 99% of all systems. No idea what that unfortunate 1% are doing wrong or need to make it work. I have tried a few different things such as water and trees (some success there) but for the most part decided it's more effective to just build or buy a better PC and run FSX when visuals are all I am after But if I could get the "wet surfaces" in rain to work in FS9 I probably would not even need FSX at all Stefan
