This is FSX and the scenery is Megascenery Hawaii. The clouds and environment is from FEX, also gex and utx, got almost all the X's! The scenery I just picked up on sale, and it is just beautiful.

Good shots of those humps.
I was stationed in Hawaii, and saw these Connies almost daily inbound or outbound. The scenery really looks like your screenies. Nice work, I like them.

Excellent screenies! Besides the Connies, the scenery blows me away! Especially those magnifient whitecaps off the shore of the city!

Connie1649 I was stationed at Barbers Point back in 1963-65 and flew electronics tech position. Loved Hawaii and the flying of course, bushp04 checkout that scenery in the link above, the stuff is unreal. Do most of my flying there now.

In all my years of flying, I never felt uncomfortable in her. She always seemed safe, even if she did like to lose an engine once in awhile. But even then, it just was no big deal. On at least two occasions, we lost an engine flying over Adak Alaska and the PC opted to continue on to Midway instead of diverting to have an engine r&r in Alaska, claimed it was to cold for him.

I was working an Oakland Center radar sector one mid-shift in December (early 70s) when tule fog covered almost all of northern California - nothing was getting in or getting out. There was a Navy C121 enroute to Moffett from Adak that had been flying for what seemed like days through the oceanic sectors and finally down to the Bay Area. The flight made 2 approaches to Moffett around 2 AM local and missed each approach. He then continued on down to Point Mugu where he finally landed.
