Firstly I should say "Hello" to everyone at CalClassic. I'm from bonnie Scotland and have been very much enjoying reading the forums and flying your fantastic aircraft. This is my first post so please be gentle Now to the (possible) problem; I am doing a complete reinstall of FS2004 and while downloading the AI traffic files Avast Server Edition reported AI File Six (ai2k4T.zip) a being infected with the Win32:Trojan-gen {other} Virus/Worm. I downloaded this file a few months ago for a previous FS2004 install and there was no virus warning at that time so I'm guessing that the warning is just a false positive; but to err on the side of caution I'm asking if anyone else has had a warning while downloading this file. Thanks in advance to any replies.

Avast is infamous to err on the side of caution. One of the reason I use NOD32. Anyway, unless the call for virus regards a .BGL file there is no danger at all, and even if it regards a .BGL file, the probability that it's a real infection is negligible.
Now, if the warning is directed on an .EXE file... things would be different end personally I would hear a second point of view (online scanner or something).

Hi,
Noel also reported this to me. It appears that a new update of Avast is causing this. I scanned the very same files using McAfee and MalwareBytes and they came up clean. I think this is a false alarm.
Hope this helps,

Thanks for the quick replies, I've reported it as a false positive to Avast.
