The fact that the MATS Connie formerly operated by Vern Rabun is now a static display in Korea is a pure crime that I put up there next to the rape of Meigs Field. Such a beautifully restored flyiing piece of history now reduced to a static display in Asia is just tragic. I realize costs are costs and this is a practical world, but I get emotional on these things!

Hi, I agree with you, Eric. I don't know why they brought the connie in with high cost of money for static display. And another problem is, it is static display on Korean Air Training facility in jeju Island(called Jeong Seok Airfield). So if you're not Korean Air trainee or hired by Korean air, you have no rights to approch to the aircraft. Korean Air Museum is just outside the training facility, but you can't see or approach to the aircrafts. (3 static aircrafts on display. 1st 747 for KAL, 1st A300 for KAL, and L749 in fictious L1649 repaint) Does it makes sence?! Then why did they buy the aircrafts? for their fun? regards
