Sorry, i know about 1963, but i'm interested in which of the most recent and top sceneries do people prefer. Thanks.

For fairness, I never tried the 9dragons scenery. When it went out I wanted to install it, but in these days I wasn't flying anywhere near Hong Kong, so I delayed... delayed... delayed... delayed even more after the first news running about it, that it was quite demanding on the computer it was installed on, and I only had a Athlon Xp back then... delayed until I was asked to make a review for a FS add-ons site of the Fly Tampa scenery. Duty calls, and I install said scenery thinking it to be at least as demanding as the various rumors on the net say of the 9dragons'... I fire it up and I'm astonished in discovering that with all the bells and whistles on it didn't have an appreciable hit on frames... this on an almost five years old Athlon Xp 2400@2600 + 1.5Gb + Geforce 6600GT 128Mb DDRII... a precious rarity. Useless to add that my review was a glowing praise. Since then I've changed PC with a more powerful one... and the scenery showed itself to be so nice that it allowed itself to be moved from a rig to the other without bitching that it wanted to be reinstalled, like so many other times happens with so many other add-ons, and of course it works even better on the more powerful rig. Graphically, of course, is spectacular and I cannot but say good things about it. A must have.

Both are marvelous sceneries, but when it came down to it, I couldn't see enough improvements with FLYTAMPA's scenery to justify a 30 Euro expense, so I stuck with 9 Dragons and have been happy all along. The main differences I see are the AI ships, cars, etc. that get added in, FLYTAMPA has more "custom" buildings, and FLYTAMPA added two heliports for those who are vertically inclined. Just my two cents, but I would recommend to anyone trying to decide between the two to get the 9 Dragons, and spend the 30 Euros somewhere else.

Ok, i think i should have said the poll was absolutely free of charge. So, by now the result is 50%, without my test vote. Well i made this poll since i'm troubled on what of the two i have to install. I had both on my old pc rig and, as ashaman says, i at last choose the flytampa one, since it was more framerate friendly. But, and this is the point, i felt it a bit "cold", plenty of gray colours, i love them in Dubai or Seattle, but in Honk Kong I expect a warmer environment. Maybe i'm the only one, or simply i've forgotten how it looked. Thanks

I've used them both. Must say I like the FLYTAMPA better; more detail in buildings, roads, bridges, etc. More nice for better screenies. But if you feel its' more about the flying itself, an not so much about the environmental details (I mean in the city, terrain in the area is excellent! see screenie ) , 9Dragons is great! Not 100% sure, but I feel slightly higher FPM's with 9Dragons.

It is with utmost shame that I must admit to have never been able to successfully land a jumbo there. All other manner of planes yes, the 747... sigh. Can someone tell me if the scenery with what looks like a dam almost on the beach shore in the first pic above is in the Flytampa and if yes hor to get there from the airport? Never seen it before.
