Based on 1952 photos. Tom's 1959 traffic fly's into Boeing Field. The Boeing 707's, B727 designed in 1961, the original Dash 80 (HJG model with resized textures), a B52 all fly in here also with some fake FP's that I use. Boeing aircraft depart Renton Municipal and end up on the flight line at Boeing Field. The B52 just fly's to Fairchield AFB and back at the wee hours of the morning, thus the night shots. I do have Air Force 1 (SAM 2600) flying in, but might change it out to a KC-135. With Washington State being my home for almost 10 years now, I'm still finding new history and info when it comes to its aviation history. One thing that I learned was that the west side has always been for the most part all Boeing in terms of its flight line and factories for the time period. The East side is where the passenger service was handled, The Boeing Air Terminal, still true today, Kenmore Air operates from here. This is the object that I still need to do to finish up the project. The south end of the field is more my imagination since I have not found any photos of the period, but Cman (CC member) is helping out with the research. I know I have a very old book of the B747 from 1969 - 1970 and I think that it contained some shots at Boeing Field and Paine Field, just need to find it in one of my many storage boxes. Enjoy the screenies. Frank s280.photobucket.com/albums/kk183/eagle526/Boeing%20Field/

Hi Frank,
This will be a fine addition, thanks. I haven't gotten around to setting up AI Boeing aircraft there as part of the AI Package, but I should.
BTW, West Coast was the only scheduled airline to use Boeing Field; the rest were charter and freight airlines.
Thanks again,

That's great, Frank. Are we going to see Tex Johnson do a Barrel Roll over lake Washington? I wonder if an ai can be programmed for that. ;D

Thanks guys. Jesse, now that would be at sight to see in the sim if it could be done. In searching for photos, I came across footage of Tex doing his thing, what a ride that must of been, darn should of saved the link. I'm sure if there is a way, someone could do it. It still amazes me that they were able to get B47's and B52's out of Boeing Field. When it came to the 707's flying out of Renton Municipal, I thought how is it possible for them to land back again, of course I did not know that they just flew out and straight to Boeing Field or up to Paine Field, so, I learned something new. Lots of history here for sure.
