Thanks Tom for your kind appreciation. Fortunately flightsimming let us get inside a dimension that's beyond time and space. This is why i love it.

Very nice images! I cant imagine how hard it must have been to travel by air from Europe to Hong Kong in the days of the Connie. I spent 10.5 hours last thursday night flying from Buenos Aries to Atlanta on a Delta 767. That was hard. Gives me some sympathy for those who flew much longer flights at much lower altitudes (bumpy!)

Hi Eric,
I made that exact same Delta 767 flight some years ago - I swore I would never do that again in coach (and I never have). Not that I've flown in Business Class - I just haven't flown long distance (overnight) again.
Yes, it was bumpier and longer back then, but you had a seat pitch (in coach) of 38 to 40 inches, the seats were wider, and they often had headrests and footrests.
Take care,

I think anything more than about three hours in a 767 should qualify as a "cruel and unusual punishment" If there was even a bit of elbow room it would help. ATB MikeW

Nice shots. FS9? I like the water texture.
MikeW, that's luxury compared to 5 hours on a Qantas 737 from Sydney to Perth. Give me a 767 anyday over a 737.
Cheers, Mike

OMG!!!! Tom, today i've read your sentence again, with different eyes. Thinking about how NOW could look the same place this pic could have been caught. Sadness and tears. Few buildings then, NO Kaitak today. Just a few romantic aviators in a Forum. That's life.

Hi, Yes, times have certainly changed. People complained about Kai Tak being too far from town back then.
