Nassau - Port-au-Prince (MTPP)Fully loaded (and more!), we are pushed-back from the stand. Todays' cargo is mainly medical supplies and tents in aid of the poor people of Haiti. We are limited to only 18 tons, but we do what we can. Heavy!! Slowly climbing to gain some speed... 10.000 feet. The Bahama Island-string and the Exuma Sound to the left. Great Inagua. Approaching Cap Haitien VOR. From here we turn inland. Arrival procedure to MTPP is from the sea due to high terrain. We can expect landing delays due to heavy traffic. After landing, the huge impact of the whole rescue operation becomes clear to us: freighters from all over the world are crowding the tiny airport! We are lucky they found a piece of ramp for us. Now get the stuff unloaded!

Nice job on the traffic! Glad to hear our classics are doing their part.
Thanks,

Nice screen shots! And a great idea to do some flights in current world event areas.

Hi Paul,
you are a great story-teller and a great photographer. I think you are a great pilot too.

Man that is really nice. By the way, what are you using for terrain? As it looks like photo terain? I have REX but it is nowhere close to what i see on your shots.

I would LOVE to have that AI traffic file with the flightplans.txt. I virtually fly into PAP now routinely with DHL airplanes as thats my employer and we are heavy on the ground with Disaster Rescue Team folks.
I need to go look at the afcad now to see what the parking places look like!
