Nice! I wish I had pictures of the Chicago Air & Water Show to post - had tickets to go and all - but that was the weekend I spent whacked out on morphine in Oak Park Hospital while the doctors decided to yank parts of my body out Oh well, just like the Cubs - there's always next year!

I'd love it if they played that way...more like T-ball.

I'd love it if they played that way...more like T-ball. T--ball gives you a higher percentage of hitting than the Mariners are capable of. For that matter, it gives you a higher percentage than Fukudome, the Cubs' latest million-dollar disappointment...

I'm back from our reunion in Chattanooga, TN. Had a great time at the Holiday Inn Choo Choo Hotel. The main lobby is the old Railroad Terminal Station. They have three hotel buildings that are standard, and then for the railfans, they have 48 traincars that have been converted into hotel rooms, complete with Queen size beds, and all the amenities. Here is a rundown on Oshkosh 2008 via the gurus at GE. Enjoy. Jesse www.ge.com/innovation/airventure/index.html

that is true...but with the "m"'s pitching...the results are the same... by the by...how you feeling? Good, thanks for asking! I'm at about 90% of normal, which means I am out and about but not yet totally misbehaving. Trying to enjoy the warm front we're having before the inevitable Chicago winter slams us down. Went to La Bella, a great Italian place in Oak Park last night with a friend and ate outside on the sidewalk - right across from the L and the Metra - good food with the smell of diesel, the snap of electricity and rumble of heavy iron. The Marion Street Station from where we were sitting, sorry for the blur, it's the best my cell phone can do at night: And my friend, an older picture taken a few months back: I have ugly friends...
