Just thought I'd enquire, since I have all my issues with FSX apparently under control.

Slowly ... we have some good flight dynamics but must stand on the brakes to keep her from running away on the ground. The "Fantasma" version has acquired an IR pod under the nose and 'spiraling' spinners. What's mainly holding us up atm is the VC. I wanted the gauges to be placeable via PanelStudio but as you can see I had to go back to the dedicated poly system, which does not offer much leeway for tweaking. WIP shots here ...

History shows that what CC produces is always TOP NOTCH... (something to do with throttles?)...and always worth the weight.

Any further updates?
I know the VC can be difficult and the stock DC-3 cockpit is certainly not going to work with turboprop management.

The arrow points to what I spent several hours doing yesterday, creating and texturing a single dip switch Otherwise panel and console now have working gauges, levers and placards. I dropped the Kingair stuff and opted for the Cessna Caravan gauges. Slowly it is turning into a true turbo prop with max cruise at around 170 kts. Overhead panels including a dedicated fuel system are being worked on and we have a very nice FD - no more creeping, flies like a dream, all extremely close to specs. Some very good sounds are available via the FSX Twin Otter. Yes, and if this should pan out VC-wise I am thinking of using it for doing a modern version of the venerable radial engined C-47 as well.

That would be great! By the way, are the radios 3D or 2D knob styles? I'm thinking in terms of swapping in Garmin GPS systems for modern flying.

As always, we are very thankful for the efforts that the CC crew put out. The biggest benefit that I can see is that we, the users, really get a chance to have our inputs and wishes heard.
Try that at Carenado or A2A.
Again, thanks for the many hours that have gone into all of these projects.

That is some fantastic work, inside and out. I really like the look of the new panel layout. Hope it all works out so we can see a modern C-47 as well, that would be extra tasty icing on the cake.
