I am sure I had a small program that you could make FS2002 aircraft from showing up too large in the FS2004 selection menu, I did a search but couldn't find it, does anyone know what it is called or has anyone got it and used it.

I knew of a program for earlier FS versions, but not for FS2004, sorry.

I use AFCAD to change the size of aircraft in the selection menu.
It's under 'Tools' then 'Aircraft Editor'. I just change the parking radius to a higher or lower number depending on the size issue (eg. too big or too small). If its too big I make the radius number bigger and if too small make the number smaller. The number is the radius in meters.
Hope this helps Chris

Hi Chris,
It is not the radius I want to change, I can do that no problem, it is on certain aircraft from FS2002 show too large in the selection menu, they are too big for the screen. I found the program but it is as Tom says it is for earlier versions of FS, I tried it but it gave me a run time error.

As I remember all that old program does is change the radius value, so Chris' idea of editing the radius value in AFCAD might work - try it.

The afcad program didn't work but I got the other program working. What I did was put the program in a folder of it's own then put the folder containing the aircraft in the same folder then edit the radius, to suite. At first I made it even larger then realised to make it smaller you have to input a bigger figure, I had 3 attempts till it fit nicely in the selection menu screen, great!!! I had to take it out and put the aircraft back in to the main (Aircraft) folder in FS9 each time to make the edit, also you will need VB40032.dll as well or the program won't work, you can download it here: www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?vb40032The program is called 'MDLDIST' by Chuck Dome here: www.fsdome.com/showpage.php?url=http://www.fscorner.com/library/cfs2tools/1.htm

Hi, Glad you figured it out - I didn't realize it would work with FS2002 aircraft.
