First flight last night in the Hermes and not surprisingly with her pedigree she was a troublefree install and flight. Thank you very much Jens for another wonderful addition. Was there a large cargo door in the military variants or the later civilian use airplanes And if so would it be possible to add one to the sim model ?? Stefan

There was a large cargo door in the military variant, the HP67 Hastings. But the Hastings was an earlier aircraft, a taildragger with a shorter fuselage. There was no cargo version of the Hermes.

Copy that Jens. I must have been a bit too rushed when reading your documentation. She is a beauty.

At least Avsim put it up - Jens' new Argonaut has only just appeared on Flightsim, six days and about 9000 downloads after it appeared on Avsim. It will be interesting to see how long the Tudor is delayed. Personally, I can't see much point in renewing my First-class membership at Flightsim, if I have to wait a week to get the benefit of a faster download. By working the timezones, I can get the same speed from Avsim, so why bother? MikeW

>six days and about 9000 downloads To explain, I asked the Avsim managers to delete the previous version (argo_v20.zip), and they offered to add its download number (ca 7000) to the new version, which has had many downloads, but not 9000, in the past week Best regards Jens

You are too honest, Jens. She's top of the bill nonetheless. Cheers, Maarten

Hi Jens - Thanks for that info, and many thanks for those three lovely planes, too. I see the Tudor is there this morning, so mebbe the Argo just got mislaid some where along the line. I expected the couple of days I had to wait for the Hermes, because Flightsim is usually a bit behind, but six days was a bit much. Must admit I hadn't thought of 7000 'bonus' downloads being added in. I knew it would be popular, so the numbers didn't really surprise me - in fact I was delighted to see that so many people recognised the quality of your work. Once the initial rush died down, I got the Argo from Avsim, with no dramas. Once again, many thanks. ;D MikeW
