I've installed Manfred's V2 starliner {wow} but would like to keep the prototype's from his V1.1 which i think are equally cool and need to be used with his completed panel. I have an idea of how to accomplish this but being challenged in this area I'm not certain on how to make this happen help please.

A simple way to do that would be to simply rename the 1.1 version. and put a 11 at the end of the Connie's folder in the aircraft folder.
A more complex way to do it would be to rename the model folder in the 1.1 version as model.11 and move it into the new Connie folder. Make sure that in the aircraft.cfg file you change model= to model=11 in whatever repaint you decide to change.
I hope that helps.

Hi,
1. Copy the texture.xxx folder for the desired livery into the v2's folder.
2. Copy all the bmp files from a v2 texture folder that are NOT already present in your old v1.1 texture's folder (VC textures, etc). You might want to update some of the other "generic" texture files too (i.e. those that don't have anything to do with the external livery).
3. Copy the fltsim.nn entry for the livery from the old v1.1 aircraft.cfg file to the new v2 one. Change the .nn number to the next consecutive number.
4. Change the title= and ui_variation= lines to make them different from the old v1.1 entries, or move the entire v1.1 folder to a safe place outside the AIRCRAFT folder.
That should do it!
Hope this helps,
