Does anyone know of a way to rotate scenery exclusion areas, or make non-square exclusion areas?

You can easily make non-square exclusion areas, but they must be in the shape of a rectangle (i.e. have 4 sides). The only way around this is to make lots of little exclusion areas, that simulate the shape you want. I typically make a large one in the center, and make smaller ones around that to get the shape I want.
Hope this helps,

Tom,
That's the work-around I came up with also. I thought there might be a better way, but I can make it work. Thanks!

Just as a hint, when I want to create an exclude, I use AFCAD to create the runway, add a starting point, and save it. Then I create a flight from there, using Hama-san's Alvis Stalwart, and use that to drive out from the runway to where I want the corners of the exclude. I developed this method because when I was trying to create excludes using Slew Mode, within nanoseconds of starting a slew from a small Hebridean island, I found I was in Saskatchewan, or the Aleutians. Pilot Error, I know, but very frustrating just the same. I have also used Neil's Flying Bike, and a Black Stallion, but the good old Alvis seems to handle rough terrain better.

Hi, If you slow down time to 1/4 time (R - - ) you can slew much more accurately. A trick from Mike Stevens. Hope this helps,

Thanks, Tom - I have never seen anything in this forum that didn't help, one way or the other. Long may it last! MikeW
