Squandron commander at BNAS (KNHZ) relieved of command Associated Press BRUNSWICK, Maine (AP) – The leader of a P-3 Orion squadron at Maine's Brunswick Naval Air Station is being relieved of his command. A statement says the Navy has lost confidence in Cmdr. Llewellyn Lewis, the commanding officer of Special Projects Squadron 1 in Brunswick. The Navy says additional action is expected upon completion of an investigation into the October crash at Bagram Airfield in Afghanistan. Lewis was at the controls of the P-3 Orion when it overshot the runway, crash-landed and caught fire. All crew members survived. Special Projects Squadron 1 tests and evaluates equipment and tactics. It is one of two such squadrons working with P-3 surveillance aircraft. www.sunjournal.com/storyupdate.php#1471Harold
