I thank Tom and Greg for the superb model of the Convair CV-580, and Tom for the extra help he provided to help bring this paint along even further. Thanks fellas. I still have about a week left on this aircraft just going over and hitting a few more spots, just the usual knit pickin I do to paints, maybe change alittle here, and alittle there. I hope you enjoy the views of the repaint. All shots are FSX and default scenery, with just REX and ENB bloom effect for FSX. Thanks for replys, much appreciated. I took my time and worked on the aircraft until I felt like hanging it up for the day. Some trial and error going on, was looking for just the right look. Didn't press to get it done, as I knew someday it would be done. All in all went real good, alittle more than 200 hours (1 1/2 months) and around 50 to 60 layers created this 1983 Republic livery N4822C ship 546.
Again Thanks for the comments, and Tom and Greg for the model. Excellant group of people.

The Convair 580 was a turboprop conversion of the CV-440, so that's why they look the same. Only the engine nacelles and a few other minor details are different.

The 580 had a longer tail fin, I believe they added 11 ft. to the tail section I know this 440 here needs a little work, was parked in the back of a hanger for a bit
